In my opinion, the Classic Trout is maybe one of the best blank made ever; Hard to find blank or rod in new condition; Piece of 80's fly fishing history; blank with "soul" in first touch....;

Flor grade cork rings used to make the handle.
Custom cap&ring aluminum reel seat with walnut insert (not glued), finished with varnish (stacked bamboo insert available too, but not pictured).
The hook keeper and the inscription area are not finished. Will finish them on customer demand!
