The Rx8 is the fastest blank Batson offer.

 - TiCH heavy wire stripper guide;
- Pearsall’s Gossamer silk;

- Custom flor grade cork handle;

- Custom cap and ring polished aluminum reel seat. 

- Buffalo horn insert finish with varnish;

      - Custom rod cloth.

I designed the rod with nickel silver hardware which is significantly heavier than aluminum, that is way I choose cap and ring style reel seat.

Moving the weight closer to the but you could balance this longer rod with much lighter reel.

This is the last rod I finished in 2016.

This little beauty will throw 2wt and 3wt lines with fines and will bend from the reel seat when fish on.
Catching wild brownies with it would be a massive thrill.

(cap, cork check and winding check from nickel silver; ring from aluminum (ring available in nickel silver as well))

The clicker reel is not the brand you may think, but is great quality anyway and
despite of its 90grams weight balances the rod greatly.
